[Tutorial] How to Play Famicom Disk System Games

Famicom Disk System games are not playable on all the NES emulators out there. Just in case you want to try out some Famicom games, here's a little help.



You will need:
-Nestopia (Best emulator that I've found so far. You can also use other emulators which supports FDS games.)
-Famicom Disk System BIOS
-Any *.fds game rom

Now let's proceed:

1. Now that you have all the files that you need, extract them all in one folder.

2. Run Nestopia.exe

 

3. Open the .fds rom file of the game and you will encounter this error.

4. Click "Yes" and then select the BIOS file.

5. After selecting the BIOS file, you should see a loading screen which looks like this:

6. There you go! You can now play the game.
